ABOUT
I'm a first-generation college student raised in western Montana and Utah by parents who worked seasonal jobs in the rafting and skiing industries. My sister and I spent much of our childhood raising pigs, lambs, and chickens. That upbringing shaped my appreciation for the communities, landscapes, and natural complexity of western interior North America.
For fun: mobility training, anything mountains and rivers, kendama and juggling, reading, and watching movies. I love maps, space exploration and rockets, wildlife, and experimental and downtempo bass music. I'm a lifelong fan of the Utah Jazz and Colorado Rockies and, yes, this dimension of my life has been very sad.

"...in the process of the centuries the mountain is levelled and the river will change its course...and the configuration of the stars varies. There is change in the firmament. The mountain and the star are individuals and individuals perish."
-Jorge Luis Borges translated from "La escritura del dios"
