Figure 7 in Alexander du Toit's A Geological Comparison of South America with South Africa (1927). du Toit was a prominent early supporter of Wegener's continental drift hypothesis. He put geological meat on the conceptual bones by getting boots on the ground during major expeditions in Africa and South America, early to mid-1920s.
